My in-box is over-loaded. My voicemail is flooded. My psychic hotline is boiling. What can I say? Thank you all for the fantastic messages. I promise to write back to as many of you as I can over the next few weeks, but in the meantime, here’s a last email blast to let you all know that I am reading every one and listening to every message.

Consider this the ultimate thank you note.

Thank you for your mad creativity.

Thank you for embracing innovation when it would have been easy to rest on your accomplishments.

Thank you for daring big, inventing new rules, and coming up with stuff no one has ever done before.

Thank you for being smart. For being brave. For respecting the audience and each other. For celebrating differences in the best spirit.

Thank you for allowing me to spin in your orbit all this time. It has been the greatest honor of my life, one of the great joys, altogether inspiring. All due to you.

MTV Networks’ most important virtue has always been the embrace of change. Never standing still, never looking back, moving on to the next great adventure. What’s good for MTVN as a creative company is also good for each of us humans.

So in the same spirit that has made these brands indelible in the world, I thank you all. I’m really looking forward. I won’t miss you, because in my heart, I am taking you with me.

Now get back to work and have some fun.
